Q. Describe your style and the way you work with your clients.
Ans. We like to have fun and spend our time getting to know the "good side" of the people we meet during the engagement session. During the wedding, we like to take a step back and let the day unfold in front of us. We definitely take a more photojournalistic approach and only direct a scene if it would serve as a stronger picture or a more flattering pose for our clients.
Q. Are engagement sessions really necessary?
Ans. Not necessary, but HIGHLY recommended. Having an "e-session" allows us to get to know you and how you both react with each other. It gives the both of you a chance to know how we work, learn the style we shoot with and get comfortable in front of the camera. It also gives the girls an excuse to dress up and go shopping =)
Q. How long does it take before we see our pictures online?
Ans. I typically have teasers up in the blog within 2 weeks and 3 weeks after to be in the proofing site. I try my best to have the DVD delivered in 4, but could take up to 6 weeks depending on workload.
Q. Do you book more than one wedding in a day?
Ans. No, we want to give our full attention no matter how long or short the wedding is. This is your special day and we’ll see to it that we capture all the special moments.
Q. Do you shoot alone or shoot with a second photographer?
Ans. I shoot alone, but you have the option of adding a second photographer unless it’s already included in the package you choose.
Q. I want to book you, but I’m not a local client. Do you travel?
Ans. Of course! There are no travel fees if you’re within 100 miles from Los Angeles County. If you’re from out of state or in Northern California, we request air fare accommodations for two (me and my assistant) and at least two days of lodging.

Q. How many images can we expect from our engagement session and our wedding?
Ans. You can expect between 75-150 images from your engagement session. On a typical 8 hour wedding we deliver anywhere between 400-500 images. I also include hi-res and lo-res files in two separate folders. Hi-res for printing and lo-res for faster uploads online or email.
Q. Do you edit your images?
Ans. Yes we do. We spend another 15-20 hours ensuring that the images we give you are the best that they can be for viewing and for printing. We work hard well past your wedding day to give you the best possible images.
Q. Can we book you for sessions other than weddings?
Ans. Definitely! Though we don’t advertise it, we get tons of requests to shoot other sessions like portraits, family sessions or other special events. Just let us know what type of service you are looking for and we’ll start from there.
Q. So we like you…ALOT. How do we proceed with booking you?
Ans. Cool! Well we require a signed contract along with the retainer to hold your date. The retainer fee is either $700 or 25% of your investment, whichever is greater. The date is considered "up for grabs" until we receive both items from the clients.
